Zubiri inducts CLD photog as new KBC prexy

In his speech, the senator lauded the members of the KBC for its consistent and united effort in the preservation and protection of the environment. Zubiri, father of Biofuel and principal author of RA 9367 or the Biofuels Act and RA 9147 or the Wildlife Conservation Act, is a famous and original member of the Spice Boys in Congress. He has also authored the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Zubiri told the KBC to carry on and continuously uphold their common mission and endeavors in empowering the youth and the community. Zubiri, youngest majority floor leader, said the youth are the hope of the nation and the KBC is on the right track as they are actively involving themselves in nation building.
The senator has also encouraged the KBC officers and members to serve as role models in helping the people and society for the safety of the environment and upliftment of the quality of life of the youth and their families. Founded and established in the year 2008, the Kapampangan Boys Club famously known as KBC, is an all-male exclusive club made up of the finest, young, talented achievers and promising gentlemen in the Province of Pampanga.
KBC is a youthful club which aims to make a stand on the advancement, welfare and empowerment of the Kapampangan youth as well as promote good will and better friendship and environmental preservation. Its primary thrust and advocacy is to endorse and carry out various events and activities involving environmental preservation, music, arts, Kapampangan culture and heritage preservation and tourism promotion.
KBC officers who took their oath were Jimmy Hipolito, Central Luzon Daily photographer- President; Eavin Dale T. Navarro, culinary arts student from Holy Angel University � Vice President and Ryan T. Paras, sophomore high school student � Secretary.
Hipolito said the KBC envisions and aspires to be the top and most outstanding youth and teen organization in the province. The induction was graced by Balibago Barangay Chairman Tony Mamac, this city; Tau Gamma Phi national Premier Edgar Lopez, Angeles City Water District General Manager Engr. Romy Calara and CIDG Region 3 chief S/Supt. Marvin Bolabola.
