Ara Mina, back with a vengeance

We were able to talk to Ara after her series of shows in the Middle East. People were asking, why is she still being linked to the �boxing champion�?

�Oh my God! Same old issue? Wala na bang bago? Ha-ha-ha!�

�Last year pa kasi yan e! And our movie has been shown early last year pa. Kumbaga, wala naman kaming ipo-promote ngayon. It would be better for them na i-link na lang nila ako kay Robin, he-he-he!�

�Sa latest project namin with GMA si Robin ang partner ko. Hindi si Manny. So, why do they still keep on dragging my name sa isyu ni Manny? Bakit nila pilit na isinasama ang pangalan ko? Nakaka-bad trip naman yan! I think it would be best if we talk about my projects with GMA.

�By the way, I wanted to make myself clear. Hindi ako umalis sa GMA. When I had shows at ABS, hindi ako naging exclusive contract star nila. Kaya nga natuwa ako dahil binigyan uli ako ng project ng GMA.�

Ara hasn�t met Jinkee Pacquiao yet. Is she willing to see her if she happens to be at the set of the taping of �Totoy Bato�?

�Why not? I�ll take mine also! Joke! Ha-ha-ha!�

Ara was referring to her current businessman-boyfriend.

Speaking of Ara, she just finished an indie film with actor/producer Allen Dizon, called �Marino.�

According to Ara, Allen has ventured into business, aside from his acting profession.

�I�ve heard na he�s into buy and sell ng mga sasakyan. Aside from that may mga business na rin daw siyang naipundar sa Pampanga. Well, sabi ko nga sa kanya, that�s good!�

�Everybody knows that what you earn in showbiz is temporary. Nothing is permanent here. You might be earning this much today, tapos bukas malalaman mo na lang wala ka ng project. So, strike while the iron is hot! At ang importante dun, save for the rainy days.

�By the way in this indie film I won�t be showing any flesh. I�ve done so much. Besides, I�ve proven myself na rin naman siguro. May mga acting awards na rin naman ako. So, it would be good for me if I would a little bit be very choosy when it comes to accepting roles. Mas maganda rin yung mas nahahasa ang acting skills ko. On the contrary, may magbo-bold dito sa �Marino.� But definitely, hindi ako yun.

�They were also asking me kung magpo-produce daw ng mga gay ang themes sa indie film ni Allen. Ang alam ko hindi yata niya masyadong type. That�s what I�ve heard lang naman. Kasi feeling niya masyado na raw nae-exploit ang story ng mga bading. Mas gusto daw niyang i-tackle yung mga stories na talagang hindi masyadong napaguusapan.
